I don't like cricket-I love it! and Hawaiian dancing.

And we thought this week was going to be quiet. It started off with a phone call for Chloe to join the cricket dancing team for the T20 South Africa vs Australia match on Sunday 16th oct, which meant 3 days of rehearsals, and then the next day for Beth to audition as well. This all came about from an audition Chloe did for 'Dance your Butt off' TV show, where she met an amazing dancer ( Tracy) who recommended her for the cricket dancing . So after three days of rehearsals, on Sunday Beth and Chloe danced for 3 hours with 27 other dancers (the match was televised on Super Sport 2).The way cricket dancing works is there are a number of  stages around the stadium and every time a 4 or a 6 is hit the dancers have to jump on the stage and do a certain routine that coincides with that number.
Each team has three members. Above: the girls team.

Then came another call, could they perform with Oriental fire on Friday ETV Sunrise live at 5:45 am. But of course they can

Friday afternoon Chloe taught a Hawaiian dance workshop, teaching not only the moves but all the word meaning of the motions. Then Chloe and Beth did Hawaiian fire dancing  followed by Limbo dancing for all. This package is great for young and old and has been such a hit over the last two years.

Then on Saturday they performed at the FNB Diwali Gauteng Festival at New-town with Oriental Fire
doing theOriental Fire bolly-wood Medley  (this is rehearsal footage) and  Burning on the dance floor (the three girls are on the right hand side of the stage, low quality footage, but still fun to watch)
